The Impossible Orchestra – God Only Knows

In order to celebrate the launch of BBC Music [1] and simultaneously aid the charity BBC Children in Need, [2] the UK broadcasting company enlisted a lot of singers and musicians, labeled the supergroup as The Impossible Orchestra, to cover The Beach Boys’ God Only Knows.

The video was directed by Francois Rousselet, who has previously worked with the likes of Jack White, Kanye West and Madonna.

The star-studded cover starts off with 16-year old pianist Martin James Bartlett playing the piano while Pharrell Williams starts to sing. Quickly enough, lots of well-known singers appear, including Brian Wilson himself, who cameos twice during the video.
