Suede – Hit Me

I know I’m quite late to sharing this video (it was released on May 30), but I still had to post it anyways.

From all the songs I have listened from Suede’s comeback album Bloodsports, one of my favorite tracks was Hit Me, which sounds fun and sticky. And now, it has a music video that should make anyone that is into art conservation cringe.

This might be one of the few occasions in which we get to see art imitating life destroying art, and this is thanks to director David Barnes, who shot a young couple wrecking an art museum and then pulls a twist near the end of the video. Fun stuff, I say.

At the same time the video was released, Suede also released a 4-song EP titled Hit Me. You can purchase it here on iTunes.
