Slow Club – Beginners

English folk rock duo Slow Club releases a music video for Beginners, the latest single from their second album Paradise.

The music video — starring Daniel Radcliffe — was directed by Lucy Needs and shot on location in The Faltering Fullback in Finsbury Park, London in a single take. Radcliffe, who is a big fan of the band, is seen wearing a red Hawaiian shirt and facing booze demons while miming to the song’s lyrics.

I can’t say I complain about Radcliffe’s music taste. He’s got a taste… I usually enjoy it. If I’m not mistaken I began listening to The Futureheads because he namedropped Man Ray.

I find it slightly amusing that both him and LaBeouf have “alternative” music video features on the same week, and that I included them in my list of young stars to watch xD I should revise that list just for fun. xD

@amy, Radcliffe and LaBeouf suffered in their film career because they were attached to huge film franchises. LaBeouf might have had it shittier than Daniel with the quality of the last two Transformers films, but Daniel’s gonna be associated for life with the “Harry Potter” image.

I think between 2012 and 2013, Shia might have it better than Daniel, career-wise.
