Turn off, Spanish brain you, turn yourself off!

I was so very concerned with the title, specially because I’m also covering Bajirao Mastani in Spanish and I don’t want Google Español saying I’m talking dirty.

But anyway~ Deepika Padukone’s and Priyanka Chopra’s dance-off was finally released to the world over the weekend (as EROSNOW intends to drive traffic to their site), but it’s now finally in glorious HD open to the public for all to see and enjoy.

The style of the clip is set to Marathi-styled dancing/song, called Lavani [1], which made it to Marathi films in the 60s and was popularized throughout the years. It was even featured on Vidya Balan’s Mala Jau De [clip] for Ferrari Ki Sawaari, as well as Rani Mukerji’s Sava Dollar [clip] for Aiyyaa.

In here, Padukone and Priyanka — voiced by Shreya Ghoshal and Vaishali Made, respectively — are choreographed by Remo D’souza to great effect. There was the fear that the number was going to be compared to Bhansali’s Dola Re Dola [clip] featured on Devdas for obvious reasons, but Pinga sets its own rhythm and both actresses do make the song their own.
