Selina Jen – Thank You, Everyone Who Loves Me
I would feel like a jerk if I didn’t post this, or at least mention it.
For those that might not be in the know, Selina Jen — simply known as Selina from Taiwan trio S.H.E — had an accident in October last year while shooting the movie I Have a Date with Spring (我和春天有个约会), in which an explosion burnt 54% of her body with third degree burns. The accident also affected co-star Yu Haoming, who suffered third degree burns to 39% of his body.
During all this time, Selina has been going through therapy as well as operations of skin grafting to recover. All the way through, she had the support of S.H.E members Ella and Hebe [1]. I even think Ella’s or Hebe’s mom was one of the skin donors in Selina’s operation. That’s family love right there.
Anyway, as a form of appreciation for the people that supported her. Selina is singing the song Thank You, Everyone Who Loves Me (謝謝你們 愛我的每個人), with music written by JJ Lin and lyrics by Yao Ruo Long. The music video is put together by BOUNCE featuring footage of Selina’s recovery and ending on the positive note of her marriage, which was finally re-scheduled for October 31st.

Selina got married, and it was actually quite the event. Even the Taiwanese president attended! Serious power couple there! Wouldn’t be surprised to see her becoming a First Lady or something along those things.
She’s charismatic and popular, perfect for the role.
And the movie of her life would be out of this world.
@ghost, I was surprised to read that Ma Ying-jeou read a speech for the couple quoting S.H.E songs, which… I admit, I found slightly hilarious. Mainly because I get stuck with the silliest S.H.E songs… “Ni shi dian, ni shi guang, ni shi wei yi de shen hua/Wo zhi ai ni, You are my super star” xD
