Pet Shop Boys – Vocal

Pet Shop Boys has released the music video for their latest single Vocal, from their upcoming album Electric.

The video’s visuals was edited by photographer Joost Vandeburg, who included footage of late-’80s British raves, along with scenes from legendary Manchester club The Hacienda. As for what the band has to say about Vocal, they noted:

“The video (and the song) was inspired by the way British youth at this time found its own freedom with a new culture epitomised by dance music and raves.”

Electric is the band’s twelfth studio album and it is set to be released on July 15, 2013.
