Nas featuring Amy Winehouse – Cherry Wine

Before Amy Winehouse passed away, she collaborated with Nas on Cherry Wine, the fifth single from his eleventh studio album Life Is Good. Today, we’re getting a music video for the song.

Cherry Wine was tittled after Amy Winehouse’s guitar, which she called “cherry”, and features a narrative between ill-fated lovers. In the video, Nas works as a bartender with eyes for a beautiful patron. While she notices him noticing her, she plays him in order to get chosen by a baller. As the narrative progresses, old footage of Winehouse is  projected onto a brick wall in the club. The video ends with Nas dedicating the song to her.
