Miguel Bosé featuring Penélope Cruz – Decirnos Adiós

The all-ever inclusive front page on YinYueTai brought me here.

Look, I may like to listen to Spanish manly voiced but quite queer-tastic Miguel Bose, but I sure as heck had no idea he had a new music video out directed by Jaume de Laiguana, who had previously directed Bose’s Hey Max [MV], a string of music videos for Shakira (including Don’t Bother [MV] and No with Gustavo Cerati [MV] — which is AWESOME), and a string of videos for Alejandro Sanz (including No Es Lo Mismo [MV]), among others.

This single, which was released on Christmas day, is called Decirnos Adios (lit. translation – Tell Goodbye to Each Other) taken from… his sixteenth album (?) Papitwo — his second duet album following Papito — a duet with EVERYONE’s favorite (hint: everyone who knows only one Spanish woman) Spanish girl Penelope Cruz. And guys, can all you English-speaking people stop referring to her as “Pene”? Please?

In the music video, all stylish black and white Bose and Cruz yearn and suffer for each other like all Latin-based romances do. I’m not partial to the lyrics of the song or the actual song, I’m beginning to doubt Penelope Cruz sang in Nine. Plus, I prefer Penelope Cruz with Nintendo [1] [2]. Can you blame me?
