Melanie C – Weak
During the past week, Melanie C — whom most know as Sporty Spice, unless you’re cooler and know that she rocks even more as Melanie C — announced that her next single from her latest album, The Sea, would be Weak.
I’ve been trying to remember what Weak sounded like on the album because I don’t recall it sounding this good — or maybe the images make the song more vulnerable than it is. There’s a certain strong quality to Melanie C’s voice that contrasts to the theme in the song, especially when she reaches the final line of the chorus and says, “Why do I feel so weak?”
