Madonna – Girl Gone Wild

Just in time before MDNA gets released, the Queen of Pop unleashes a music video for Girl Gone Wild, the second single for her latest album.

Unlike Give Me All Your Luvin’ [MV], which featured Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. as Madonna’s cheerleaders and the American football theme designed to hype Madonna’s Super Bowl performance [1, 2], Girl Gone Wild showcases male dancers, clad in tights and heels. We also get to see two men biting into the same apple, which can be seen as a homage to Madonna’s past with such videos as Vogue and Erotica.

The music video for Girl Gone Wild was co-directed by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who previously worked with the Queen of Pop on a photoshoot for both the American magazine Interview and MDNA artworks.

MDNA is officially released tomorrow.
