Limp Bizkit featuring Lil’ Wayne – Ready to Go

I know Limp Bizkit’s recent music video for Ready To Go (feat. Lil’ Wayne) was released a few days ago, but I just noticed it on my Facebook feed today. Take away Lil’ Wayne’s appearance (I’ll admit LB used well rappers before with Xzibit and Method Man) and this would be the best single they have done in years, energy-wise.

The video was directed by Fred Durst with production help from Zoo FX and takes you behind the scenes of all things Limp Bizkit. The scenes change from shots of the band formulating set lists to Wes Borland’s unique preparation for the stage. It’s all intertwined with live concert clips of Limp Bizkit performing before thousands of fans. Believe me, a Limp Bizkit concert is fun, regardless of how much time has passed by since they became famous.

And while we’re at it, the video also features gratuitous shots of hot blondes fooling around in water wars and kiddie pools, but it’s not enough to deem it NSFW-worthy.

Ready To Go is the first single from their seventh studio album Stampede of the Disco Elephants, the band’s first disco without DJ  Lethal. The upcoming album has yet to receive an official release date, but it is estimated to hit the stores in early 2014.
