Hot Chip – Don’t Deny Your Heart
When it comes to playing football video games, I’m more of a Pro Evolution Soccer guy instead of playing FIFA, even if most people are telling me that FIFA is much better than PES. Well, I just happen to play video games when I can, so I wasn’t aware of the “FIFA gay glitch” [1] that happened on FIFA 12 over a year ago… until just now.
Anyways, the glitch seems to be the main inspiration for the latest music video of Hot Chip’s Don’t Deny Your Heart, the third single from their fifth studio album In Our Heads, released on June 6, 2012. It all begins when the members of Hot Chip are playing the football game while riding their tour bus. Things go normal at first until the glitch kicks in and everyone’s making out… including the narrators. Pretty ironic, especially when you factor in the song’s chorus.
The video was directed by Peter Serafinowicz, who previously worked with the band on the music video for Night & Day [MV].
