Foo Fighters – Walk

Walk is the Foo Fighters’ second single from their album Wasting Light. The song can be heard in the movie Thor. It was supposed to be part of the previous studio album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, but Dave Grohl decided to put the final version on Wasting Light instead because it “sort of makes sense to the album’s theme of time and second chances“, and to “end the record on a positive note“.

The video — heavily influenced by the 1993 film Falling Down –is directed by Sam Jones, a director and photographer who has previously worked with the likes of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Tom Cruise, Renee Zellweger, George Clooney and many others.
