Florence + The Machine – Breath Of Life

Florence + The Machine’s recent single, Breath Of Life, is part of the soundtrack album for Snow White and the Huntsman.

Florence Welch recorded the single with a 60-person choir in London’s historic Abbey Road Studios. The recording of the song was captured in black and white, but we also get to see footage from the film that stars Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Kristen Stewart.

Snow White and the Huntsman premieres in theaters on June 1, 2012.

The video falls into the general makings of a song that’s part of a movie, but the sound is strong enough and the visuals of the film are striking enough to be bearable. Especially if it includes that shot of Theron coming from the white… paint stuff? xD I think that’s the most modern shot I’ve seen from the little promotion I’ve seen of the film…

This might be the first time that I really like a song from Florence + The Machine. But then again, I haven’t listened to both of their albums. The few singles I heard from them didn’t do much for me.

The video is pumping me up to watch the film badly, even if Kristen Stewart is part of it.
