Daft Punk featuring Julian Casablancas – Instant Crush

The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas collaborated with Daft Punk on their latest album Random Access Memories with the track Instant Crush. Mr. Casablancas co-wrote the song and appears on the original track but there has not been an accompanying video until now.

In one scene, Mr. Casablancas performs on an empty stage beneath a spotlight, and in another, a puppet version of the singer serenades a female cohort.

The video was directed by Warren Fu and the puppet mask was developed by Tony Gardner, who worked on the make-up for Michael Jackson’s Thriller [MV].
