Coldplay – A Sky Full of Stars

Coldplay releases a music video for A Sky Full of Stars — which includes Avicii as as producer — the third single from their latest album Ghost Stories.

The video was directed by longtime collaborator Mat Whitecross and the shooting took place in Sydney on 17 June 2014 while the band was touring around Australia.

Chris Martin walks through Sydney’s streets dressed as a one-man band, singing the first verse of the song. Then we get to see the other members of the band similarly dressed like Martin and they play the instrumental refrain. By the end of the video, the band reunites in a square, singing and playing the final part of the song with a crowd of fans. While Martin is singing the final part, a lot of paper made stars are blown in the square.

Ghost Stories was released on May 16, 2014.
