Carlos Vives & Shakira – La Bicicleta
Colombian superstars Carlos Vives and Shakira released the first collaboration of their careers with La Bicicleta, a song in which “the son of vallenato” cycles through the cities of Santa Marta and Barranquilla, reconnecting Shakira with her roots.
The video, in charge of Spanish director Jaume De Laiguana -who had previously directed a number of Shakira’s music videos such as No [MV]- was shot during the 3rd week of May in both the singers’ hometowns, which created a lot of expectation. Shooting also occured at Salamanca Island Road Park and Puerto Velero, both located in the Colombian Caribbean coast near Barranquilla [1].
La Bicicleta is the first single off Carlos Vives yet-unnamed upcoming album.
