Bruno Mars – Gorilla

Frieda Pinto and Luis Guzman star in the music video for Gorilla, the fourth single from Bruno Mars’ second album Unorthodox Jukebox, released last year.

In the video directed by Mars himself, Pinto plays as Isabella, a stripper who’s having a steamy love affair with Mars, the club’s band leader, while Guzman makes a cameo as the club’s owner and introduces everyone to Isabella.

At the end of the video, Mars goes in an anthropomorphic chase scene, and suddenly transforms into a gorilla, while Isabella is seen at the end of the pathway, waiting for him.

The song was released as a single on September 10, following Mars’ performance of it at the VMAs, and it peaked at No. 26 on the Hot 100. Unorthodox  Jukebox was Mars’ first No. 1 album, and it is currently back in the Top 20  of the Billboard 200.
