Bad Meets Evil Featuring Bruno Mars – Lighters

Well, here’s the music video for Lighters, the second single from Bad Meets Evil’s EP, Hell: The Sequel. The song is notable for sounding entirely different from the rest of the EP’s tracks, which mostly set an aggresive pace.

The video clip begins with Bruno Mars singing and playing the piano while Eminem is chilling on a couch writing raps for a new song with intercuts of him rapping in a dark tunnel. Meanwhile, Royce da 5’9″ is inside a jail cell and begins to find a way out. Eventually, both Em and Royce find their way out and along with Mars, they encounter “a sky full of lighters” — er, the sky is filled with lots of decorative lanterns.

The director of Lighters is Rich Lee, who also directed Not Afraid [MV] from Eminem’s album, Recovery.
