Ayaka – The Beginning MV

After a two-year hiatus due to health problems, Japanese singer Ayaka (絢香) is back, not only with her own label, A stAtion, but also a brand new album entitled The Beginning, which will contain 13 new tracks and will be released on February 1st, 2012.

The first single entitled Hajimari no Toki (はじまりのとき) — which can be translated into The Beginning, even though the album already contains a song with that name — shows off Ayaka’s powerful vocals while showing footage of her as a child.

She made a successful comeback stage with her hit single Under Everyone’s Sky (みんな空の下), also known as Minna Sora no Shita, on the 62nd edition of NHK’s Koukahu on New Year’s Eve.
