Alice In Chains – The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here (MV)
Out of the two music videos Alice In Chains released yesterday, I prefer this one over Voices [MV] and it’s also one of my favorite music videos of this year at the moment.
The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here was directed by Travis Hopkins and produced by Kalen Hayman. I love how this video comes across as something you would have easily spotted on MTV back in the 90’s when grunge was on top — okay, I’ll admit nostalgia is kicking in my head right now. But the combination of the song alongside the concept of the indoctrination of children through television and religion comes across as visually fascinating. A creepy TV clown is involved too, which makes up for disturbing imagery.
The video asks if it’s okay to have children watching tv all the time. The answer is no because while there are good things out there, there are also bad things that may affect them. What you see is not always what you get. Really great video which gives food for thought.
