Aimee Mann – Labrador

Aimee Mann’s eighth studio album Charmer is available in stores today. She also releases the music video for Labrador.

Directed by Tom Scharpling, Labrador shows Aimee Mann ribbing her past as lead singer for ‘Til Tuesday, offering a mockumentary take on the band’s biggest hit Voices Carry [MV]. The video begins with a faux behind-the-scenes for Voices Carry which includes Jon Hamm (Mad Men) playing as Scharpling, and musician/comedian Jon Wurster as the actor Denny Rock. The rest of the video plays as a shot-for-shot remake of Voices Carry.
