Viki licenses 27 SBS Korean Dramas

Our affiliates over at Viki.com managed to license 27 Korean dramas from the television network SBS, which is a huge step in making entertainment more region free. Here is the list of the licensed dramas:

Among the licensed dramas our dear editor-in-chief, Julyssa, has reviewed Secret Garden and Obstetrics & Gynaecology Doctors. But we know that she is planning to review more because she has seen some on the list. She is also planning to continue watching, so look forward to reviews for Coffee House, You’re Beautiful, Painter Of The Wind, My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho, Loving You a Thousand Times, Temptation of Wife, Will It Snow For Christmas? and Iljimae.

The YAM Magazine team thinks Julyssa is crazy, but she claims those are very good dramas. I guess we shall see once her reviews are up.

However, Viki doesn’t only have dramas from Korea, right now they have TV dramas from 52 different countries. Not in the mood to watch a drama? How about watching movies from 33 different countries? If you are in the mood for international entertainment, Viki just might have what you need.

We suggest you watch a drama or movie from a country you have never watched anything from. You might be pleasantly surprised.
