Stiko Per Larsson – The Hike to Copenhagen

Swedish artist Stiko Per Larsson is going on a hike from Stockholm to Copenhagen to promote his third album Varken Stjärna eller Frälst.

If you encounter two guys — with backpacks and guitars on their backs — with the course set for Copenhagen, it is very likely that you come across Stiko Per Larsson and his sidekick Michel Benoit.

In conjunction with the release of his third album Varken Stjärna eller Frälst, “Dalkarlen” Stiko Per Larsson launched his traditional “hiking tour” — this year with 38 stops in as many days on the approximately 952 km long walk towards Copenhagen. Every evening a live broadcast will be shown on Stikos’s homepage www.stikoperlarsson.se

For those of us who are not able to go on the hike, there is a GPS option on the site. There you can see where Stiko is at all times. The GPS function always has a real-time updated position and velocity data for the touring trio — the dog Yrrol is also accompanying on the hike.
