My Favorite Food TV~

Anthony Bourdain

Okay, I gotta admit~ Anthony Bourdain seems kind of a jerk. Like a tame version of House M.D.

However, Bourdain seems to have a better balance of food variety, culture, and tastiness in his programs. Except for the time I saw him try Stinky Tofu — which I’m still running away from — I would probably not decline tasting anything Bourdain has eaten. He doesn’t expect you to learn anything from him, and you just gotta accept that his show is all about him going globe-trotting around, eating, drinking, and enjoying life.

Because life is good. And yes, we may get jealous of what he gets to eat from time to time, but then we sit back on our kitchens, have a high-calorie snack and our life is good as well.

Also, you’d like to know that he’s been to Peru xD but I also think he could’ve done better.

    Wth, you stole my idea!

    Nigella foreverrrrrrrrrr that woman is just so HOT!

    We have some really great Swedish tv-chefs: Tina Nordstöm and Leila Lindholm. Those are my two favorites.

      @Julyssa, I so didn’t. You said you were writing an ode to Nigella, and I was already writing my post then.

        @amy,
        “But Nigella cooks like most of us. She’s not glamorous and often tells us that she’s lazy”

        My friend, I beg to disagree with the first part of your statement. If this woman is not the embodiment of glamour and sensuality I don’t know who is. I wish I looked a tenth like her when cooking.

        I am a total Nigella FANATIC. So I’m glad to see her featured here ;)

          @Echydo, yeah. I know, but she doesn’t spend 6hrs cooking pork telling us that’s the way to do pork, instead she’ll probably pick up a pack of pancetta and do it in a way that she’ll tell us “it’s just as good as cooking pork for six hours in the oven.” xD

  2. oh gosh. all the food shows. I finished the first season of Around the World in 80 Plates recently and I liked that they had to try and make local cuisine with locals judging the results.
