My Favorite Food TV~

Jamie Oliver

Okay, I may not be totally a dude. Who can hate Jamie Oliver? Look! He’s like a big kid all the time — a kid who cooks and talks with a lisp. He’s got, like, a gazillion television shows, but because I’m always in need of cooking skills, my favorite of his shows are Jamie at Home and especially Jamie’s 30 Minute Meals.

I mean, SURE it’s nice that some people like to use their ovens for four or five hours, but I don’t have the time or the patience to deal with that type of food-making~ so, yeah. Jamie’s 30 Minute Meals is a lifesaver.

Nigella Lawson

Can anyone really not succumb to the charms of Nigella?

Now, she may not be a chef, but she loves to eat. Better yet! She has a way with words, so whenever she’s making something, she’ll tell you for sure how much she loves eating it. It’s almost pornographic — correction: it is completely and most assuredly pornographic [1]. LOL A friend of mine says she can’t honestly watch Nigella’s show with a straight face because she feels Nigella is always flirting (with her). xD

But Nigella cooks like most of us. She’s not glamorous and often tells us that she’s lazy — see! very much like us! She’ll whip something up in 30 minutes or less, so another friend of mine loves her as well, while secretly hoping Nigella could stop her fixation with pancetta xD And if she’s not doing anything salty — though, she’s proclaimed she loves the taste of caramel and bacon together — she’ll have something that’s high in sugar on her ingredients list.

Take a look at this chocolate mousse, for example. xD It’s not enough that it’s chocolate, but she’ll add marshmallows and cream! But she loves it so much, it’s hard to resist~

I’ll stick with the chocolate-water mousse recipe I linked on the first page, Nigella ;P

In Nigella’s favor, though, Jamie Oliver and Chef Ramsay do have their own Dirty Talk videos~

    Wth, you stole my idea!

Nigella foreverrrrrrrrrr that woman is just so HOT!

We have some really great Swedish tv-chefs: Tina Nordstöm and Leila Lindholm. Those are my two favorites.

@Julyssa, I so didn’t. You said you were writing an ode to Nigella, and I was already writing my post then.

        @amy,
“But Nigella cooks like most of us. She’s not glamorous and often tells us that she’s lazy”

My friend, I beg to disagree with the first part of your statement. If this woman is not the embodiment of glamour and sensuality I don’t know who is. I wish I looked a tenth like her when cooking.

I am a total Nigella FANATIC. So I’m glad to see her featured here ;)

@Echydo, yeah. I know, but she doesn’t spend 6hrs cooking pork telling us that’s the way to do pork, instead she’ll probably pick up a pack of pancetta and do it in a way that she’ll tell us “it’s just as good as cooking pork for six hours in the oven.” xD

  2. oh gosh. all the food shows. I finished the first season of Around the World in 80 Plates recently and I liked that they had to try and make local cuisine with locals judging the results.
