Tea Time: Interview with Chai

In your videos and music, I hear, and think of you as a very colorful band. If you were each a color, what color would you be?

All: Eeeeehh!?

Mana immediately points to her shirt that perfectly matches the rest of the band and blurts out, “PINK!

Kana: Oh, that’s what I was going to say…eh. Then blue!

Yuna thinks about it and starts to say a number of colors, before happily settling on orange for herself.

Then decisively and boldly, Yuki simply states “Yellow.

Ok! Do you have any words for your U.S. fans, and our YAM Magazine readers?

Mana: Our musical concept is that we want to change the image of being “pretty or cute.” We like to make our music and lyrics more complex. Behind that we want to change the negative to positive. We want everyone that comes to our show to have a better idea of what beauty means.
