Lollapalooza Argentina 2015: My First Ever Experience At A Music Festival

2. Kasabian (Day 2)

I have heard of them before, but hearing them live was simply phenomenal. Beer drinking aside — and this was the y only time I was drunk at the festival —  Kasabian really sounded amazing live. Hearing their hits and singing/jumping around to them was such a treat. This was basically non-stop rock concert with some of their biggest hits as well as featuring the second strongest endings — third place goes to Calvin Harris with Summer and the pyros — from the gigs I’ve seen live here with Fire (a.k.a. the Barclays Premiere League theme song), a “Argentina va a salir campeón” chant — most likely a way to console them for their loss at the World Cup last year and give them hopes for Russia 2018 — and Tom Meighan saying goodbye to the crowd with a brief rendition of The Beatles’ All You Need Is Love. No playback from this band, so that’s I’m putting them ahead of Pharrell Williams despite the loads of fun I had with that concert and my really short description for Kasabian’s gig.
