Lollapalooza Argentina 2015: My First Ever Experience At A Music Festival

5. The Smashing Pumpkins (Day 2)

I know this might sound like a crime to not rank them highly, but not putting Robert Plant on a Top 5 ranking might seem much more criminal. Even with missing 5-10 minutes of their show because I had to meet my friends (and failed at it) at Damian Marley’s gig, hearing them live was downright awesome. The start was really strong with Cherub Rock, Tonight, Tonight and Ava Adore to get things started to counter Kasabian’s gig. Crowd was pretty damn energetic, especially during their most popular songs. The jumping people did for Bullet With Butterfly Wings was intense.

Despite all their rage, they are still just rats in a cage. J/K, Colombian people. In case you ever read this, I love y’all.

I wasn’t near the stage because I found myself hanging around with Colombian people, whom recognized me because I had a Peruvian flag with me at The Kooks’ concert the day before, which ended up being used by my friends to contact some Brazilian chicks as mentioned before. Spent the second half of Smashing Pumpkins’ gig with the Colombians and a few minutes later, we headed towards the other stage to check out on Pharrell Williams (more on that later).
