LGBT Worldwide Music Videos – Part II
Gary Chaw (曹格) – The World’s Only You (世界唯一的你)
Gary Chaw — commonly known as just Gary — is a Malaysian singer based in Taiwan. Though the concept of the video is similar to Weslife’s version of You Raise me Up [MV], Gary’s video might be edging it on release date. In any way, this version takes it to the next level.

Bright Eyes – First Day of my Life
If you can spot Daniela Sea, you win! LOL
In this 2005 video for Bright Eyes’ First Day of my Life, different couples of varied background and sexual orientation are told to listen to the song through headphones and enjoy themselves. Simple, huh?
Carole Samaha (كارول سماحة) – I’m Not Scared / Ma Bkhaf (ما بخاف)
Are you kidding me? An Arabic music video, in which… okay, they’re glimpses but they’re there of an Arab gay couple and an Arab lesbian (I’m pretty sure they are) couple.
Considering Lebanese singer Carole Samaha was nominated for a 2008 Best Arabia Act at the MTV Europe MTV Awards — still, even for the mere cultural impact, and the “stand up against” attitude of the video, this needs to be quite high up.
Hmmm… I dunno if the arabic pop MV should be so high up – but say what you say about sad music videos (gay or straight), there’s something so much more when there’s tragedy in a video!
@ghost, sadness is cathartic! LOL They are more memorable than happy music videos unless they’re incredibly beautifully shot. Having said that, I still think that Elva Hsiao and Amei’s music videos (though happy) are perfect.
Oh I found out that the first place comes to Ricky XD
I’m latin girl so I know how this thing is in latinamerica and was kinda shock when he told the world he was gay. even so… I suspected about it… everyone did…
=) Ah… I think I’m gonna have a long time watching all these videos. I’m in love with gay love even so I’m not gay hehe thanks for the suggestions…
