Julyssa’s Music Highlights of 2011
8. Jamie Woon – Mirrorwriting
To me, this year’s real surprise. I found Jamie Woon from pure coincidence. I was checking which acts were playing in Stockholm and his name popped up. I went to listen to him and I adored his album.
I wasn’t able to see him live, but I am not too sad. I know I will be able to see him soon. For now, I will relax as I listen to his album. The combination of his voice and the soft melodies? I am a goner.
7. James Morrison – The Awakening
The interview that never happened. Forever butthurt over the matter, but c’est la vie.
James Morrison is one of the artists I really love. There’s something about his voice, his music. I am a goner. This album was a true gem, from beginning to end I adore every single track.
