YAM’s Top15 Films of 2012
2012 has gone by and as always, the YAM Magazine staff takes a look at their favorite films of the past year. This time, 61 films were nominated, but only 15 would make part of our ranking. The array of films was, as always, striking. However, the movies that were more widespread and easily distributed worldwide managed to get the most votes.
From the films we anticipated the most in 2012, 8 of them made it to the list and only 3 of them didn’t get a single vote at all (to be fair with The Great Gatsby, the film’s release date got bumped to this year, a move none of us had in mind during the voting process).
Anyways, we present to you YAM Magazine’s Top 15 Films of 2012.
4.
- Cloud Atlas (dir. Andy Wachowski, Lana Wachowski & Tom Tykwer)
- The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (dir. Peter Jackson)
- Prometheus (dir. Ridley Scott)
- Skyfall (dir. Sam Mendes)
- Wreck-It Ralph (dir. Rich Moore)
I’m proud of this list. The only one I haven’t seen yet is Cloud Atlas~
@mirella, I’ve only seen like 5 on the big screens xD
only four of my favorites are on here this year
@Marya, You can blame distribution for that one probably xD
