The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Return of the Sith

TUESDAY

Here’s what Princess Leia and Grand Moff Tarkin looked like before the CGI in Star Wars: Rogue One. Yep, both Norwegian actress Ingvild Delia and English actor Guy Henry and they didn’t look bad at all! Specially Henry! These images likely come from the bonus features on Rogue One‘s home video release. The movie debuted on digital storefronts on March 24, and comes to Blu-ray/DVD in April 4.

Newest Spider-Man Tom Holland talked about the different experience he has with the three movies he has currently been part of in the MCU:

They all feel like very different movies to me. Civil War was such a whirlwind, and I didn’t really know what was going on. I was thrown into the deep end. Spider-Man [Homecoming] was the best time of my life. I was there with my best friend. We shot in Atlanta. We shot every day and just had an absolute blast. Avengers [Infinity War] was crazy, because you’re on set every day with actors I never dreamed I would work with. I’m as much a fan as anyone else.

You know that Black Cat/Silver Sable movie? It may be coming sooner than expected. In 2018 to be exact, since it might start shooting later this year. Just like that Venom movie, which will not only might be R-rated, but will launch Sony’s own cinematic universe which would utilize the Spider-Man characters without tying it them to the MCU. No director is attached to Venom yet, but it has a tentative release date of October 5, 2018.

CinemaCon brought us new details about the and Wreck-It Ralph sequel, now officially entitled Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2… and damn, that’s a not-great-name! Also, both Jane Lynch and Jack McBrayer, who voiced Sergeant Calhoun and Fix-It Felix respectively, will be returning to voice their characters, along with John C. Reilly (Ralph) and Sarah Silverman (Vanellope)… so yay! The film premieres on March 9, 2018.

WEDNESDAY

Here’s the first poster the new take on Stephen King’s classic, IT, as well as some stills.

Here’s the concept art for Justice League that features Superman with the team. We haven’t seen the dude in any of the promos, but it’s to expect he’ll be there. Dude ain’t dead, and everybody knows it! Damn, Cyborg looks way better in the concept art. Yes, I am still bitter he looks so bad in the trailers. Also, new Wonder Woman concept art on display in the French art gallery Art Ludique Le Musée. Yep, apparently it’s “the first museum in the world dedicated to the art of entertainment”.
