The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Our fairy Godfather

TUESDAY

The world will make tributes to David Bowie for some time, and Entertainment Weekly decided to do it with the week’s cover, where his life and legacy was remembered.

Pacific Rim 2 may finally happen now that China’s Wanda bought Legendary Entertainment. OK, if Pacific Rim 2 happens, I could finally forgive China for Transformers 4‘s box office, and not liking Star Wars: The Force Awakens enough! Yep, I am bitter. Not that China cares anyway! Besides Guillermo Del Toro’s never gonna give Pacific Rim 2 up, never gonna let us down, never gonna run around and desert the film. That makes me happy!

OMG, The Chronicles of Narnia is getting a reboot! But the reboot will start with The Silver Chair. So, basically a sequel with new cast and new crew? Aww, Will Poulter was the perfect Eustace Scrubb.

Anyway, Jonah Hex will appear on Legends of Tomorrow! Well, dude may be a Civil War veteran-turned-bounty hunter with a f*cked up face, but Legends of Tomorrow is a time-traveling superhero series~ Here’s what executive producer Marc Guggenheim had to say:

Ever since we decided that Legends would involve time travel, we were eager to do a story set in the Old West. But if you’re going to do a story set in the DC Universe version of the Old West, you simply must include Jonah Hex in it. We’re thrilled about bringing another well known, beloved DC character to television.

Here’s the trailer for Penny Dreadful Season 3, where we are told that when evil spreads, dread comes for all of us. The series returns on May 1st!

WEDNESDAY

Here’s a promo for Agent Carter Season 2 called “Agent Carter’s Breaking & Entering 101”. Our homegirl is good! And Agent Sousa ain’t bad either! Also, do I want to be thunderstruck? By you, handsome fellow? Maybe~

Talking about Agent Carter Season 2, seems it will have a tie-in with Doctor Strange! How? Well, the show will feature the extra-dimensional negative energy known as Darkforce a.k.a. Isodyne, which Doctor Strange doesn’t actually use… so maybe one of his villains?

The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman said the midseason premiere will “pick up right in that moment”. Nope, it won’t be Glenngate all over again. So yay!

We pick up right in that moment. Alexandria is overrun. Rick and the kids are all covered in guts trying to get through the crowd. Everyone is where we last saw them, and things get worse from there.

Also, The Walking Dead also had some intriguing promos to share on their Instagram! And here’s my favourite… and makes me worry for that poor horse’s fate:

Heroes Reborn got cancelled by NBC. According to NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt that “it was always the plan” to have that one season, unless series creator Tim Kring had something else to tell. But Kring did say that he had ideas for more seasons of Heroes Reborn with a new set of characters. Oh well.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 script’s final draft got sent out, James Gunn announced on Instagram!

Here’s the list of the Razzie nominations, and I pretty much agree with everything, specially if it involves Adam Sandler. Well, I did enjoy Jupiter Ascending, so I am not happy to see it there. But I acknowledge my opinion wasn’t a popular one.
