The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: One more time~

THURSDAY

In the end, Hiddles won the Battle of the Cheekbones and became Man of the Year for the second annual Anglo Fan Favourites Tournament.

All hail King Hiddles!

Last year the winner was Alan Rickman, in case you were wondering.

And considering Benedict Cumberbatch was the semifinalist, I guess actors with sexy voices who play dark-haired men with issues are the fan favorites~

Anyway, Hiddles realized he won (obviously, what with all those fans tweeting him about it) and tweeted an answer in his usual humble way.

Now it’s time to vote for the ladies! Just like Rickman won last year, it was a Harry Potter actress who won last year. Will Helena Bonham Carter get the prize twice in a row, or who is the new favorite English lady? Vote and decide!

Chris Hemsworth keeps slaying me with more pictures of him carrying his daughter around. It’s just too cute. And I don’t particularly like babies.

Total Recall releases clip, poster and featurette! Guys sure are busy, and they are slowly making me want to watch it, despite my lack of interest at the beginning.

I really didn’t know much about The Dinasour Project, but this poster sure tickled my interest! Now having read the description of it on Empire Online, I totally want it!

In DC news, here we have a second clip for TDKR with Christian Bale and Morgan Freeman, where Lucius Fox shows off a new bat-toy, aptly named “The Bat”, to Bruce Wayne. Also, here’s the movie’s official website, or rather the official website of the Brittish Cryptozoological Society.

And the possible Justice League movie [1]? Maybe in 2015, says Warner Bros.

On the Marvel front, Fantastic Four will get a reboot, which is fine because the movies were not that good. Like, at all. Josh Trank, director of surprisingly awesome Chronicle, will be in charge with a whole new cast. No surprises there, even if Fox and Disney manage their Marvel franchises separately, Captain America cannot be The Human Torch… as for the rest, sorry, but they won’t be missed.

Finally, more Comic-Con news, courtesy of Hiddles! First he retweeted a picture of the awesome Sideshow Collectibles’ Loki figurine for Comic-Con. Then, he confirmed his presence as a guest voice in Robot Chicken. Other guest voices include more flawless people, such as Sam Elliott, Daniel Radcliffe and Sir Patrick Stewart.

And then he ruined my life, ruined as in made it totally awesome, with his choice for Song of the Day:

Which led me to watch the whole Interstella 5555 again… can’t say I am mad, though.
