The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Never too old to kick ass

MONDAY

Tom Hiddleston tweets a picture of himself, the picture of the anecdote! You know, the anecdote where he took a picture of himself holding Mjolnir and Captain America’s shield! Man, that he hashtagged the picture as #stupidity makes me love him even more. Dammit, Hiddles!

Chris Evans talks about Captain America: The Winter Soldier, telling us he’s up to date on his Cap comics. He also said he would love to do a cameo in Thor: The Dark World:

[Chris] Hemsworth and I even talked about that.  I would love to do a little thing in Thor 2.

That’s two of us, Chris!

We also got two new interviews with Anthony Mackie, and damn now I really want Captain America: Winter Soldier because I can already smell the bromance! Look what he said about 10 Years co-star Channing Tatum:

Channing has the ass of a 25-year-old black woman.

He’s such a great addition to Marvel’s Cinematic Universe family! And he keeps delivering:

There’s going to be a lot of Anthony in a tight suit kicking ass. Everybody wanted me in spandex, and now you’ve got it — hours of it!

I love him already!

OMG. I want this in my life. Right about now!

Yes, that beautiful box set is Tarantino XX: 8-Film Collection, that will be available on November 20th.

TUESDAY

Jimmy Kimmel makes fun of dear Posh Alien Prince’s name. The answers of the public were hilarious, Jimmy’s not so much. Still, Bennedict Cumberbatch should use this chance to make himself known to the general American public, because the ones who know him there are mostly the Sherlock fanbase.

The cue card at the beginning was the cutest thing though~

There’s a new Tom Hiddleston interview, where amongst the regular Avenger-related questions, there’s the one about him being very smart. LOL

I suppose I’ve always been a literary person and fascinated by words, which helps in relation to drama. I read Classics at Cambridge but that’s not to deny that, as a child,  I loved superheroes. I grew up on Christopher Reeve’s Superman and, in a way, a part like Loki in a film like The Avengers is a fantastic concoction of everything I love. It’s got psychological drama, action and all the things I enjoy about acting. People do sometimes  look at me like I’m using lots of big words but those are the only ones I can think of.

He’s a cultured geek, yo! And I do love that he’s so articulate.

The new posters from Wreck-it-Ralph are so pretty and full of gaming geekiness, I just might cry!

We have 10 stills from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey trailer! I really cannot wait for this movie!

Agent Coulson is gonna be in Marvel NOW! Point One and OMG YES! If I needed more reasons to want this particular comic!

Okay… again I was ready to throw down a deep comment but then I saw this:

Unlike Psy, Hollywood does not care for originality and just wants money. There’s talk about a reboot or sequel to Gremlins. And it might be in CGI. Why must Hollywood take everything I hold dear and turn it into CGI?

And there is more bad news… a Beetlejuice sequel? Rumors say it keeps moving forward.

    WWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTT?!??!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!?

Why…. WHYYYY!!!! Is Hollywood purposely trying to murder my childhood? It’s like taking a kid’s favourite lollipop and replacing it with a popsicle stick with a paint-covered rubberband ball on top! My heart… she is broken DDDD:

EFF YOU, Hollywood. BIG EFF YOU.

Having said that… What IS a Cumberbatch???? xD LOL
