The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Funko finds a way!

WEDNESDAY

Here are new character posters for A Wrinkle in Time with Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling, Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Storm Reid.

Pacific Rim Uprising got a cover on Total Film magazine, and shared some new photos. Also, the first of six prequel comic for the film has been released, giving some background on Jake Pentecost, the main hero of the film played by John Boyega. The six-part series, Pacific Rim Aftermath, is set nine years after the end of the firstfilm and one year before Uprising.

J.J. Abrams is developing his first sci-fi TV series since Fringe in 2008. Sources say Apple and HBO are both in the running for the untitled drama, with producers Warner Bros. What’s it about? Well here:

The drama is about a family — consisting of a mother who works as a scientist, her husband and their young daughter — who all get into a terrible car crash. After the mother winds up in a coma, her daughter begins digging through her experiments in the basement and winds up being transported to another land amid a world’s battle against a monstrous, oppressive force. Her father then follows her into this new world.

THURSDAY

Here’s the official synopsis of Avengers: Infinity War and the words are suffienctly over the top to pique my interest!

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their super hero allies must willing to sacrifice it all in an attempt to defeat the power of Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

Here’s the trailer for the role-playing mobile game Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, where we get to experience life as a Hogwarts student in the 80s. Attend classes, learn spells, make friends (and enemies). It’s before Harry’s time at Hogwarts but we’ll get to meet Tonks, Bill Weasley and all the teachers. We also create own personalized student avatar… and we pick a pet! It will be available in the App Store and Google Play in 2018. OK, let’s be sincere, the graphics look kinda cheap, but if it’s free I’ll totally play!

Cloak and Dagger‘s two-hour premiere comes to Freeform on June 7th, but for now we get a three minute sneak peek of a not-so-cute meet-cute.

Here’s the trailer for Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay, to be released on Digital and OnDemand March 27, while Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD copies and combo packs go on sale April 10.
