The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Do not go gentle against that bad fan

TUESDAY

Something terrible happened. Some fan somehow got hold of Tom Hiddleston’s private Facebook account and posted many photos of his albums on a Tumblr account and even linked to Tom’s Facebook. Thankfully, his good fans’ stance was basically this:

If we can’t protect Tom’s privacy, you can be damn sure we’ll Avenge it.

And so they assembled to put a stop to it, demanding no reblogs or reposting, blocking the user, and notifying Tom himself and his publicist Luke Windsor via Twitter. In the end, said Tumblr was deleted, and Tom’s legal team even asked a the LJ showbiz community Oh No They Didn’t to remove the captures of said Tumblr from a post. That post has also dissapeared by now. Sadly, Tom’s Facebook is also gone.

All in all it was an ugly business, even if Tom’s leaked pictures where quite innocent. Bad fan, no cookie! Maybe a lawsuit instead.

This is Tom Hiddleston with a good fan.

In less depressing news… more possible spoilers for Iron Man 3 wait A.I.M.? M.O.D.O.K. will be in the movies? The Mandarin, possible Iron Patriot and possible M.O.D.OK.? And the Extremis storyline will be a part of it? Is this movie gonna be three hours long? (not that I am complaining)

Justice League movie plans again… Wonder why? *cough*The Avengers*cough* Could DC finally make it work with a movie that is not solely about Batman? Would it be based on the New 52 storyline? I don’t think they could do it like Marvel did, since they will have to reboot everything first (because the Nolan movies are too gritty and Green Lantern movie was… not that good). I just really hope it’s not cheesy or crappy!

WEDNESDAY

Tom Hiddleston indirectly tweeted about Tuesday’s debacle. First by making Pearl Jam’s Just Breathe his song of the day.

And then with this gem, which showed how great a person he is. No grudges for this good fellow. I admire him more and more.

The good news kept coming, and there was a new vlog for The Hobbit! Also, the World Premiere will be in Wellington, New Zealand on November 28th! That is so appropiate and cute… somehow.

Two new trailers of very different movies showed themselves on the internet too.

First one was Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph, and it’s like Monsters Inc. with videogame characters and I want to watch it so much. The main reason being they licensed the vintage videogames like Toy Story did with vintage toys. I love it already!

The other one was Tarantino’s Django Unchained! Oh, Leo looks campy and having fun drinking coconuts and cackling with those awful teeth! Yay! Poor man, needs to have fun from time to time. And remember, the D is silent!

Firstly… HOMG JUDGE DREDD’S COMING BACK?!?!?!?!? *fangirly spazz fangirly spazz*

Secondly, Morgan Freeman = BAWS… FACT!

Thirdly, they’ve already done a mad for TV remake of It and the original was just a waste of life and oxygen (I mean, after you get over the mental paralysis of seeing a creepy ass Tim Curry playing Pennywise the Clown). I HOPE this adaptation isn’t a steaming pile of whodunit!

Yet again, your fangirliness has given me much to squee (and this time, lament) over. LUFF YOU!!!
