The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: Coulson Lives!

MONDAY

Soundtrack preview of Man of Steel! Won’t be as iconic as John William’s Superman Theme but I do like the epic moody atmosphere it has. Good job, Hans Zimmer! Plus we also got a new TV spot where said music features. Also there’s this rumor Batman and Wayne Entreprises will be referenced in the movie. How? Not sure yet, but it won’t be Nolan-verse.

Does Kevin Feige have some advice to DC on their Justice League movie?

I’m sure they have smart people over there who have a plan and know what they’re doing.  Man of Steel looks like it’s going to be awesome and obviously Dark Knight is awesome.  I don’t know.  It’s what I say all the time and have said over the years, which is, have confidence in the characters, believe in the source material, don’t be afraid to stay true to all of the elements of the characters no matter how seemingly silly or crazy they are.

Here’s the teaser poster of Europa Report. An accurate “found footage” space thriller with Sharlto Copley. Here for this! Also, check this old teaser video.

Ewan McGregor is now in Jane Got a Gun with Natalie Portman! As a replacement Bradley Cooper as the bad guy, I will say it’s an upgrade! And Star Wars reunion! Sorta. So, will he last or will he drop out too?

TUESDAY

Here’s the trailer of Out of Darkness, a short film written & directed by the Manjinder Virk starring Tom Hiddleston and Riz Ahmed. It’s about “an Aid worker’s story is told through nine different voices”. I am intrigued~

Interesting article between “cheap-ass” Marvel and “greedy” actors, and how RDJ is trying to help his co-stars~

He’s the only guy with real power in this situation. and balls of steel, too. He’s already sent a message that he’s not going to work for a place where they treat his colleagues like shit.

Also, RDJ is in talks with Marvel about Avengers 2 and Avengers 3, though the possibility of an Iron Man 4 is still unsure. On the other hand, Marvel is still working on other possible movies for their cinematic universe:

Marvel has a writing program it uses as a concept generator and has scripts for Blade and Ms. Marvel features, for example. Doctor Strange, Iron Fist, Black Panther and The Runaways are other projects on the horizon. The company slowly has been reacquiring licenses to characters it lost during the 1990s, snapping up Blade, Ghost Rider, Power Man and Daredevil in the past year alone.

New Star Trek Into Darkness promotional images! Everybody looks so atractive it is almost annoying me~

Sorta related, and I don’t care it’s been shown all over the place including my own facebook fanpage, this ad should watched over and over:

Warner gets the rights to make a movie based on Dungeons & Dragons. I just hope it’s better than the one with Jeremy Irons. Shouldn’t be that hard! I for one welcome more fantasy movies!
