MONDAY
As we all expected, The Walking Dead season four finale had great ratings, and managed once more to break records! Yep, they got 5.7 million viewers.
Huge Jackman was named “Empire Icon” at Jameson Empire Awards! Also, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug, The World’s End and Gravity did quite great and got Best Thriller, Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Best British Film and Best Film respectively.
There’s this rumor that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot moved from August to November/December to leave more time for reshoots. Apparently, it’s because the fans hated the trailer, specially the new origin story that has to do with (White) Shredder and April O’Neil’s father. So while I know many movies do reshoots, they shouldn’t mean you have to move the release date. For me that means, right now, this movie sucks~
OK, I’m digging those Penny Dreadful posters, even if it’s just because the people in there are so pretty, specially the ladies! Ohai Billie Piper, Reeve Carney, Josh Hartnett and Eva Green!
TUESDAY
OMG! High-res, cutout, full body images of Guardians of the Galaxy‘ titular characters! This is a Tumblr girl dream!
I already knew this since I’ve already watched Captain America: The Winter Soldier: the Cap’s To-Do-List changes from country to country. The spoiler I got about this list was different to the one I got. And apparently this happened all over the world. The UK list includes The Beatles and Sherlock (which as much as I love Sherlock, it should have been Doctor Who), the Korean list has Oldboy and DDR, and when I saw the list, I’m sure I saw Shakira in there! But why? Kevin Feige thought it would be fun to do a little contest~
It was an Internet contest for people to be saying, “What did Steve Rogers miss while he was in the ice for almost 70 years?”
Benedict Cumberbatch was driving a Jaguar on Finnish ice for some reason. But hey we got a nice interview and photoshoot out of it! Specially the behind-the-scenes part where he plays with snow dogs! We also learned about his favourite countries and cities, and his favourite parts of London, which I hope won’t be used to stalk him now that the info is out there~
