“Indominus Rex” name for new dinosaur confirmed in the Jurassic World website! Here’s a bit of the description of this new clever girl~ Wait, are they keeping all lab dinos as female? Or do they just let life find a way?
At first glance, Indominus most closely resembles a T-Rex, but its distinctive head ornamentation and ultra-tough bony osteoderms can be traced from Theropods known as Abeliosaurs. Indominus’ horns have been placed above the eye orbit through genetic material hybridized from Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops, and Giganotosaurus. Fearsome indeed.
Anthony Mackie taked about Captain America: Civil War and how awesome it will be, even claiming it will be better than Avengers: Age of Ultron. Them fighting words!
The way I look at it, Captain America [The Winter Soldier] was a spin-off of Avengers, but it was so much better than Avengers. With the new Avengers [Age of Ultron] coming out, the trailer that came out, it’s gonna be 10 times better than Avengers. So, [Captain America: Civil War] is gonna be so much better than Avengers 2. It can’t be Avengers 2.5, it’s like Avengers 3.8. It’s so far past where Avengers is gonna be this summer. Just having read [Civil War script], and seen the specs of what they’re gonna do, it’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
Comicbook news! Here are the previews of a couple of comicbooks I am waiting for: Spider-Gwen #1 and Thor Annual #1!
Also, Wrestler (and now comicbook writer) CM Punk has had a lot of fun writing for the Thor Annual and is using the opportunity to cram as many characters as he can and give the whole thing a bit of “a cartoony, Looney Tunes-esque silly sense of humor”. Which I think could be so awesome! Anyway, what’s his story about?
He’s going to Midgard and slaying dragons and hanging out with Vikings and drinking all their mead and sleeping with all their women. He’s kind of taking the whole ‘I’m the thunder god’ responsibility pretty lightly. There’s obviously some growing pains from that Thor into becoming the Thor that’s worthy of the hammer, and there’s a lot of fun stories in there.

There’s a new rumour about the Star Wars spin-off! Michael Fassbender might be Boba Fett! Also, Boba Fett ain’t the name of a person but actually a “mantle”… b-but Jango Fett and Boba Fett appeared in the prequel trilogy! Damn, if this is true, you better have a good explanation for this Disney/Gareth Edwards/Chris Weitz!
But that’s not only new thing about the Star Wars spin-off! Turns out Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany got the lead role in the movie! It’s not been confirmed but if it is… well done, gal! Get that Disney money!
HBO released the Game of Thrones Season 5 trailer and why am I hearing David Bowie’s “We can be heroes” as a soundtrack? And why do I care? It is awesome! Sadly, all is not good for A Song of Ice and Fire fandom. It’s been confirmed there won’t be a new novel this year either. Not that we expected different, but we would have loved to be pleasantly surprised dammit. At least we will get a illustrated edition of the three Westeros novellas? Silver linings, right? Right?!
