The Fangirly Diary of a Geek Girl: A new hope?

THURSDAY

Here we have some Hiddles in an interview for RADA, talking in favor of the new film acting studies.

I just love how passionate he is about cinema and acting~

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey soundtrack is here, courtesy of Howard Shore, of course. And we get two songs by the dwarves! But their marketing department likes to spoil us, so we also got 14 new character posters, and this is how you Photoshop character posters! Watch and learn, Twilight!

Apparently, principal photography of Iron Man 3 is over and done with. The final scene filmed? Here:

They are shooting in an abandoned cement factory where they have re-created an Afghanistan village market that will come under drone attack.

Here’s also a new picture of Sir Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin.

In DC Comic news, Guillermo del Toro will helm a movie with their supernatural characters… A Justice League Dark film? Count me in!

And here are the new posters for Les Misérables! One with Cosette and Marius, the other with the Thenardiers:

FRIDAY

Lots of Rise of the Guardians featurettes: about Chris Pine’s Jack Frost, Hugh Jackman’s Bunnymund, Alec Baldwin’s North, Sandman and Tooth.

Here’s next week’s Elementary promo, and the character development in this show remains the best part of it. BTW, Jonny Lee Miller will run in the NYC Marathon.

Continuing with the Star Wars info, after this season, Clone Wars obviously won’t be on Cartoon Network anymore. A likely candidate would be Disney XD. We also got rumors about the plot points, which includes two trilogies, and possible directors for the new Star Wars movie going from Spielberg to Whedon.

Finally, Stan Lee says there will be movies about Black Panther and Dr. Strange. I take this with a pinch of salt, but if so… Excellent! Now we need a movie about a super heroine. Come on, Marvel!

And that’s it for this week, my geeks! I’ll finish with Benedict Cumberbatch holding director Paul McGuigan’s baby. Because I do love watching men I find atractive with little kids and/or cute animals~
