Music Mondays: New Releases, Miguel Flies… sort of, and More!

Tuesday:

We’ve got some great releases today. Firstly, Lemon & Herb releases the official promo video for their single Velani [1]. Bibio releases their latest album [1] and we’ve got some new-school old-school, coming in the form of Myron & E. Their video for If I Gave You My Love is just classic soul at its best [MV].

Queens of the Stone Age bring us something truly fantastic with their latest MV for single Kalopsia:

Chance The Rapper takes the time out to decode some of the music from his album Acid Rap. Some of the most intelligent and interesting lyrics to come out of hip-hop in the past decade or so reveal some very personal bouts of introspection for the young MC. The idea of ‘talking white,’ a lot of people grew up around that, just the idea that if you speak with proper diction and come off as educated that it’s not black and that it’s actually anti-black and should be considered only something that white people would do. One of my favorite groups as of late, KING, dropped by KPFK studios and performed their gorgeous track Supernatural [1]

As well as giving us that tidbit of brilliance, the trio announced that every Monday in June they’ll be performing at the Bootleg Bar in LA! Fans in the area are sure in for a thrill. I’m just gonna put it out there, I’m ÜBER jelly! [1]

JYJ’s Kim Junsu has added his pristine, absolutely perfect vocals to the soundtrack for Song Ji-hyo’s latest drama called The Fugitive of Joseon [1]. As is to be expected, the song, titled Foolish Heart, perfectly compliments the grand vocals of quite possibly the most perfect voice in Kpop.

As unexpected as my path was to loving all things weird, more unexpected is my ability to get attention for writing about the stuff.

LOL Miguel, I learnt about it through LJ… but man, the girl who got kicked it in the face had it worse than the once that almost got teabagged in my opinion~

@Mirella, Dude.. it was just… it was ugly on all sides! He basically face kicked TWO chicks, one went down, the other one was pulled to the side while the girl he hugged just took the opportunity… HaHa.
