Music Mondays: Lauryn Hill Returns, Chance Drops Acid, Q.U.E.E.N.s Take Over, and more!

Speaking of the channel ORANGE wonder, Frank Ocean had acted as the headliner in a festival in his hometown of New Orleans. He was only one of some of the incredible acts to take the stage at the New Orleans Jazz Fest, which included performances from Nora Jones, Fleetwood Mac, Maroon 5, and the Black Keys [1][2].

One of the first bands I ever listened to on the House scene, Jimpster, has released their latest music video for Roller Girl. From what I’ve seen of the group, they’re the guys you call on for a brilliant remix. Their own music is just as incredible as anything they’ve done for other artists, and this latest video is no exception [MV].

But then we get a little something from the diva of South Korea. Lee Hyori comes back to fans with a creative and sexy video for her single Miss Korea. I’m almost ashamed to admit it (almost), but this is actually the first song I’ve listened to from the Kpop queen. But my Twitter actually exploded when this video came out, so it was only proper that I actually peep the MV. I was quite impressed, what can  I say?

And that’s it for this first week. Most likely there will be more news (and more detail, at that). As a first run, I’d say this wasn’t too bad. As a parting gift, how about a little something free? Get this sexy Bugs N The Attic remix of Flores Blancas by Ezel [1].

As unexpected as my path was to loving all things weird, more unexpected is my ability to get attention for writing about the stuff.
