Amy: Which one would you choose?
Ghost: Ramen noodles would be a lot harder to disappear, so maybe it’s more important to save Udon?
Amy: But you’re talking about the instant kind, aren’t you? I don’t think I’ve ever tasted handmade Ramen O_O or handmade Udon, for that matter.
Ghost: But you’ve had handmade noodles, no?
Amy: I have… but I don’t know what kind of noodles they were. xD But I know for sure they weren’t Ramen, Udon or Soba. I tried all my fresh noodles in Taiwan and China.
Ghost: Well, China’s the craddle of noodles, so they should know.
Amy: Oh, the Four Great Chinese Inventions? xD Gun-powder for fireworks, paper, the compass… and noodles, alright. LOL
Amy: “What is this marvelousness that they’re sucking onto?” xD
Ghost: Well, Asians do like to suck on their noodles.
Amy: That sounds wrong.
Ghost: You know what I mean.
Amy: Still sounds wrong. It’s not sucking, though, is it? It’s the slurping of noodles. The slurping of noodles is a savory art, it’s all there on Tampopo.
Ghost:Do you slurp your noodles?
Amy: I can’t! Too much air xD I think it’s bad for digestion. Hahaha.
Ghost: It does get messy at times. But kids do it, in general. Then we get instructed not to. Kids usually know how to savor things.
Chinese sausage > hot dog.
@Diandra Rodriguez, I can’t really argue with that unless we’re talking about a Frankfurters or something. xD Or maybe chorizo. Or salchicha huachana. xD But yeah, hot dog is probably at the bottom of the list of sausages.
I am game for Chinese sausage and rice. Or BBQ Pork and rice.
