I caught this video for Freedom of Wham!, shot in China years before the student protests in Tiananmen Square in 1989, while doing research, and I noticed how different China looked (besides how peppy George Michael used to be). It goes in stark contrast, despite not being shot in Beijing at all, to Imogen Heap’s Xizi She Knows:

It just makes you think about how rapidly China (and the whole world) is changing.
