There were thousands of movies, but we decided to take it easy. No rules applied. Just good old fashion voting for your favorite villain regardless of original medium.
This week hasn’t had much geeky news for me sadly… What it did have was the Openning of the Olympic Games.
What began as a promising week, full of news and excitement the Comic-Con brought, ended in tragedy and worry thanks to some unhinged person.
This week, anglophile fangirls found themselves in a (predictable) conundrum and that’s what the title referes to.
Lima Rises against the third Batman film being released on July 26. However, Brave hogs the Peruvian theaters on the same weekend that The Dark Knight Rises premieres worldwide. Batman fears Brave?
BBC2’s Shakespeare event The Hollow Crown premieres with Richard II, and there’s been loads of info about it. Also, old franchises are back and Hiddles is a tennis nerd.
This week has been curiously fandom packed, as in I’ve found myself lurking around some blogs about the nature of fandom and why it’s fun to enjoy media that isn’t exactly high art.
As some of you are aware, Marvel character Northstar will marry his boyfriend Kyle in Astonishing X-Men #51, available on June 20th.
