What is so amazing about Combo De La Musica? Pretty much everything: their sound, their lyrics, the energy they give on stage, the way they make you want to dance and Kristin Amaparo’s voice. Combo De La Musica is everything that is amazing about music, everything that inspires joy in music.
Kristin Amparo is involved in several projects. You readers of YAM know her as the lead singer of Combo De La Musica, a band about whom I’ve written before. This evening, Kristin stood alone with her two companions that make up INA KAA, Kristin’s solo project.
In where I am giddy about the new music I’ve discovered, feel privileged that I have been able to meet such great artists and bask in the glory that seems to be 2012 in music.
Combo De La Musica held yet another energetic and fun gig at Establissimanget – a nice little club inside the Södra Teatern. It all went down on July 6, 2011.
Combo de la Musica are new to the music scene. Mixing soul/funk and boogaloo, they are an interesting new addition. They held their first official showcase at Faching in Stockholm on the evening of May 26.
