This week has been plentiful, with superhero movies info, new video games, lots of Cumberbatch and, of course, the Olympics closing ceremony with the Spice Girls and my fav Monthy Python song!
This week hasn’t had much geeky news for me sadly… What it did have was the Openning of the Olympic Games.
The Woman in Black does a good job at setting the dark and creepy atmosphere during the film, backed up with good production desgins and nice camerawork. However, the screenplay works against the film.
Albert Nobbs is also sort of a passion project for Glenn Close, who not only starred in the film as the title character, or wrote the script alongside John Banville — she also produced it. This is Close’s baby and that will be it.
