This is the week before “The Day of the Doctor” premieres and as such there’s an avalanche of last minute Doctor Who news! Of course it’s not the only kind of geeky news we had, but it is the most notorious!
But despite its faults, Thor: The Dark World is another win for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and makes us feel Phase 2 is in good hands.
This week we have a new trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and, since Thor: The Dark World is weeks away, many interviews and relevant stuff. But the most important thing? An awesome project by Marvel aimed at young girls!
This week Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. premiered, and while it wasn’t perfect, it sure grabbed the attention of fans! And now DC has a couple of more projects for TV! What else? The usual geeky movies and comicbook news.
The Toronto Film Festival has started and with that my favs being all awesome promoting their movies. Also, some interesting casting news… and a retirement that left me with bittersweet feelings.
After being mercilessly teased with a new Loki picture in the countdown, we finally have the new trailer of Thor: The Dark World in honor of YouTube’s Geek Week.

This week the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) keep coming, but also now we know the X-Men movie franchise ain’t going to go back to Disney/Marvel any time soon.
Under the hand of Guillermo Del Toro, I’m glad to say that Pacific Rim is not only a hell of an spectacle, but it’s also a very solid film for the not-so-good 2013 summer film season.
